NBBM Series
The NBBM Series is geared toward highlighting and supporting Black businesses.
August is National Black Business Month. National Black Business Month is an annual celebration to acknowledge and drive attention to Black businesses that play a vital role in maintaining local economies and establishing general wealth. John William Templeton and Frederick E. Jordan Sr. founded National Black Business Month in 2004.
To celebrate TheBlack.Blog and HeavieTalk Media curate a month-long series featuring Black businesses and Black business owners across the country. The series looks to provide an in-depth look into the featured businesses and their individual missions.
NBBM Series 2024
This year’s NBBM Series features interviews with a diverse lineup of Black-owned businesses in the United States. Each Black business has a unique story and mission. We had the privilege of speaking to each business' founder(s) to discuss their origin story and the problem their company wants to solve.
